Yeah that’s right this is it…my sentiments exactly.
If you haven’t seen all of the trailers and adds for the Michael Jackson movie then crawl out of the rock you are currently living in and turn on your television (how you’re getting Internet under a rock is beyond me, but none the less do it)
I hate how we as a race display our vast amount ignorance by being fickle and hypocritical. I wonder if everybody took shots at every chance they had to discredit van gogh and made jokes about him while he was alive…I mean I know he didn’t become famous until he died but I’ve never heard anything about his social status while he was alive.
I mean the guy goes from being a child molesting psychopath to being a God to the music industry and held dearly to everyone’s heart…It makes me sick to my stomach.
I never liked the guy. I still don’t. I never will. Ever.
Whereas everyone else was like “omg he’s such a pervert” then when he died it was “omg I can’t believe he is dead he was such a great man.”
I wish I could ctrl+alt+delete society.
and I hope this comes back to bite everyone in their arse. (forgive my I’m really trying not to use my four letter words on this one and it’s really hard)
and for the random musics of the week…here ya go.
If I can be half as good as this guy before I die I will be a happy camper
For a moment,
she was quiet, yet he was not.
She was the voice of the ocean,
he was the voice of the wind,
grasping at straws,
their vocal chords fought, and yet…
They sang together,
they sang in purples, and blues,
sanguine deep songs,
of shipwrecks and missing sailors,
and of treasures passed gone,
but they sang,
of cold frosty nights,
with biting cold caskets and frigid fingers,
that embraced every cell as if to rupture,
every pore,
every one,
until we all grew numb-
And then summer,
sang, and brought them to a ruin,
the wind grew less angry,
as the night turned to day,
the song was ending,
but it ended this way:
The sad summer sun had spilled sweet surprise,
and summer swam sweetly in the morning’s goodbyes,
each ray a pearl, that fell on cool sand,
warming the beaches,
and the depths of the land,
yet knowing that storms
would soon return to be about,
in waiting silence,
the wind left with a shout,
one last hurra, a cane of attack,
but we left the shore,
and never looked back.

In case you haven’t noticed I have been in a reading mood lateley. After I finished “the road” a friend of mine turned me on to a series called “the dresden files”
I soon fell in love with these books. I started it a couple weeks ago and am already on the seventh book and if anyone knows anything about my reading habbits they will know that if I”m not enjoying the first chapter I will usually put the book down and never pick it back up again.
The Dresden Files are about a wizzard who live in chicago it’s set in modern times. and heres the best part…he runs a buisness advertising himself as a professional wizard. and the irony of it is that most people think that he is a fraud. the best way to describe his character would be if Jack Bauer and Gregory house had a love child together….he’s a total vigilanty and a real wise-ass. and the series is very hard to put down. I highly reccomend them to anyone who likes sci-fi / fantasy novels.
and also i could’nt in good faith not bring you this months Scoop.
Today I bring you Deathkclock a somewhat parody band based off of the show Metalocalypse. They have released their new album and here is my favorite song on it at this point it’s called the cyborg slayers….enjoy
I recently purchased a book on the recomendation from a good friend of mine. Cormac McCarthy’s “The Road” (he is the same guy who wrote No Country For Old Men) it is one of the best books I’ve read in the past few years. It’s a post-apcolyptic tale of a man and his son’s journey to the ocean. I’m not gonna give it all away, but I would recomend reading it before the movie comes out….I know you’re all like “but alpha I wanna see the trailer” well no worries I’ve gor your back
So there ya have it, but read the book first or I’ll find you and beat you with it.
aaaaaand of course I couldn’t possibly write a post without giving you a random song by some band you probably have never heard of…but hey that’s what I do so here you go. The band is called Rasputina, a cello driven indie/rock band (even though I hate labeling a bands style as “indie” because the term was never meant to describe a bands genre of music but anyway)
some of they’re stuff can be a bit “bra burning” and man bashing but don’t let that ruin it for you. Okay I’ll shut up now and let you have a listen for yourself.
??? ?????? ?? ????? ?? ??????? ?? ????? ??? ???????
much love.

I found this on MedicalTranscriptionschool.net and thought I would share it with you all.
Haha. Whoever made this cracks me up.
So recently I have been thinking about unexplained phenomenons and other strange things. I wondered if anyone would be willing to share their experiences with us?
We want to hear from every day people who have never told their story.
Until then this should tide you over…

Chuck Norris was here.
Everyone who has a web browser knows about YouTube, Google and facebook. But there are some pretty amazing sites that can match and often out perform these net giants. Websites like facebook and myspace have been incorporating gadgets and apps into their sites to make their sites more “sticky” that is to keep people logging in.
Others have taken notice of Google’s control and lately Yahoo and Bing, have been busting moves like Michael Jackson to get the edge on Google for search territory.
I think it’s good… competition is healthy!
In this post here a few lesser known tools that can do as good or better than the mega sites for search.
There are alteratives to eBay and Gmail, Gchat and Wikipedia that will help expand your internet horizons. You will be able to find more information about everything from Miley Cyrus to Webkinz… faster than Taylor Swifts music career took off.
There are also some great alternatives for time wasting like miniclip and fastgames… I will show you some great resources in this post.
The Goodies:
I am going to start with a few Search Engines I like. Simply because I find them stable and USABLE.
http://www.viewzi.com/ – I like how it gives information in an easier to digest form than scads of lines of text.
http://www.nexplore.com/ – Again I like the interface. Especially handy for research. It even features video previews
http://www.icerocket.com/ – This one is cool cause its has special twitter/social media search features enabled.
http://clusty.com/ - Pretty cool allows for interesting and effective searches
An alternative to Google Earth:
http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/download.html
A better blogger:
http://wordpress.org/ – WordPress of course! I love this system use it everyday. ( Installs with any good web host) I prefer hostmonster.com though. )
Better chat/video interaction:
http://www.trillian.im/ Trillian – An all in one wonder that can link every major chat program into one.
http://skype.com/ Skype - Pretty much a standard every nerdie should have. Even grandma’s use it.
A few tools for firefox heads.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1941 Hyperwords - AWESOME research tool. It doesn’t replace google but it lets you use search and look up very efficiently.
It can make your research a snap in firefox. With handy add ons like “Copy to notepad” this is a gem.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 Adblock Plus - Must have for adblocking of course.
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4999 Interclue - Pretty cool research and preview tool.
Okay since this has been a mishmash of cool stuff. If you know of any cool google type replacers let us know. These tools should make your day a little easier and let you surf the web with a little more easy. Happy surfing.

Ok So I found a new artist I really like. They are called DualCore – A talented bushel of nerdites and geeks with skill.
I really like the way they mix the beats. This random google link leads to a full album download.
Download at your own enjoyment. I am listening as I type. I haven’t heard all of it, just a few but I like what I hear. Maybe you will too?
Especially (My Girlfriend is a Hacker.) haha. Happy surfing!
